The Special Libraries Association – Arabian Gulf Chapter is pleased to announce that the project “Unified Interactive Collaborative Reading Platform – Your Book: From You and To You” has won first prize in the specialized training program “Leading Change and Innovation in the Era of Emerging Technologies: Future Strategies in Gulf Libraries.”
This program is one of the Association’s pioneering initiatives designed to prepare a new generation of leaders capable of driving change and innovation in the Gulf libraries sector.

About the Winning Project:
- Unified Interactive Collaborative Reading Platform – Your Book: From You and To You
- The project aims to reintegrate the habit of reading into university students’ lives in an engaging digital and interactive manner through:
- Providing daily digital content drawn from books (quotes, audio and video clips, and inspiring ideas).
- Organizing motivational challenges and competitions linked to reading content.
- Connecting the platform with university libraries and related academic courses.
- Encouraging students to participate in content creation under library supervision.
- Utilizing gamification and reward tools to increase engagement and continuity.
- The project aligns with digital transformation trends and the evolving interests of today’s students. It also presents a sustainable model that can be adopted across Gulf universities, supported by partnerships between libraries and educational institutions.
